Karen began her journey at Abel Law Firm in 2023 as the firm’s first bilingual Intake Coordinator. Karen has been making a difference in the legal field since 2014. With a dedicated background in a law firm setting, she has honed her skills in guiding individuals through the often complex and overwhelming process of personal injury claims. Her passion lies in helping others understand this journey, ensuring they feel supported and informed every step of the way.
As the first point of contact for potential clients, Karen recognizes the significant responsibility that comes with her role. Being bilingual, she values the ability to understand diverse perspectives and communicate effectively across various settings. She understands that her actions and words can greatly influence a client’s experience, and she approaches each interaction with care and compassion.
Beyond her professional life, Karen enjoys the simple pleasures that bring her joy – music, food, family, and coffee! She finds that “Good Day” by Forrest Frank always lifts her spirits, especially when shared with her children during their morning routine. If she had to choose a favorite meal to enjoy for the rest of her life, it would undoubtedly be tacos.
Karen holds dear the advice she has received throughout her life: to treat others how you want to be treated. This principle guides her both personally and professionally. Through her work and personal philosophy, Karen continues to touch the lives of those around her, embodying a spirit of empathy and understanding that makes her an invaluable asset to the firm.
Oklahomans across the state have recognized the Abel Law Firm's unique heritage as a statewide institution. Founded by Ed Abel, and today led by his son, Luke Abel, our personal injury law firm has become synonymous with empathy, compassion, and the highest professional performance serving our neighbors. Our family has sought to leave a profound impact upon the State of Oklahoma. We appreciate that former Governor Mary Fallin recognized that dedication when she declared May 1st "Ed Abel Day."
To be named Oklahoma's Best Personal Injury Law Firm is humbling. We are grateful to have won this prestigious honor. We work every day to earn the trust of those we serve: Oklahoma families who are facing some of the most difficult days of their lives due to the negligence of others. It is our intention and resolve to continue to be deserving of the faith Oklahomans have placed in our family's law firm. Thank you!
