Alleged drunk driver injures passenger after crashing on OK-10

TAHLEQUAH, OK – A person was injured by an alleged drunk driver on OK-10 Wednesday night, KTUL reports.

Christina Adair, 38, was driving north on OK-10 when she failed to negotiate a curve. Her vehicle went off-road, plowed through a fence and into a tree.

Adair’s passenger, 36-year-old Randall Sixkiller, suffered trunk head and trunk injuries. He was transported in fair condition to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa via life flight. Adair refused medical treatment at the scene.

The exact time and location of the crash are unclear at this time.


Driver struck, injured by break drum from dump truck near Guthrie

GUTHRIE, OK – A man was seriously injured after a dump truck experienced equipment failure on Broadway Tuesday, Guthrie News Page reports.

A Mack cement truck was traveling north on Broadway around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning. When it got about a mile north of W Simpson Rd, its brake drum detached and went through the windshield of a Dodge ram, striking the driver, Jason Alexander, 33.

Alexander was taken to the hospital in critical condition with head injuries.

A report by Highway Patrol lists “equipment failure” as the cause of the accident.

Motorcyclist injured after striking deer on East Adamson Rd.

KREBS, OK – A motorcyclist was injured after striking a deer on East Adamson Rd. Monday morning, KTUL reports.

According to OHP, the 34-year-old was riding a Yamaha motorcycle when he crashed into the deer around 2:30 a.m. The collision sent the bike sliding hundreds of feet, with the rider still on it.

The rider was hospitalized in stable condition with head injuries and road rash.

Motorcyclist near Quinlan injured after striking sign

QUINLAN, OK – Clinton Dewayne Median, 61, was hospitalized in critical condition on Wednesday after striking a sign in Woodward County, according to Woodward News.

Clinton Dewayne Medlan, 61, Medlan was riding a motorcycle on a country road two miles east of Quinlan when crashed into a warning sign after failing to negotiate a curve. The crash ejected him dozens of feet away from the motorcycle.

Emergency crews responded to the scene after receiving a call concerning the collision at 8:41 p.m.  When they arrived, they hospitalized Medlan with injuries to his head and internal organs.

Troopers believe impairment and speed may have played a factor in the crash.

Hit-and-run near Briarwood Estates hospitalizes 3

OKLAHOMA CITY – A hit-and-run collision near the community of Briarwood Estates sent three victims to the hospital, reports KFOR.

The collision occurred at Melrose Ln and N Rockwell Ave when a white car slammed into three pedestrians from behind and then fled the scene. The exact time it happened is unclear.

Two of the victims suffered facial lacerations and remain in stable condition. The third victim is unconscious.

Driver on OK 100 dies after striking a tree

STILWELL, OK – A driver died Wednesdays from injuries sustained in a July 21 crash near Stilwell, reports Tulsa World.

The crash occurred on OK 100 outside of Stilwell. Jackie Martin, 24, was westbound when his vehicle, a BMW, went off-road, rolled, and struck a tree.

Following the collision, Martin was hospitalized in critical condition via helicopter. They had severe head and internal injuries. He died at the hospital yesterday morning.

Troopers believe speed was the primary factor in the crash.

Juvenile hospitalized after Sallisaw ATV crash

SALLISAW, OK – A juvenile was taken to a Tulsa hospital after being thrown from an ATV in Sallisaw Tuesday evening.

According to 5 News, the victim was riding in a Ranger ATV along County Road 4560 when they swerved to avoid striking a dog in the road.

The driver hit the dog before swerving further to the right, causing the passenger to be ejected. The passenger suffered a critical head injury and was airlifted to St. Francis Hospital for treatment.

Troopers with the OHP say both riders were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Officers respond to injury collision on Shields Blvd.

Man severely injured after being hit by falling tree limb in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a tree branch in Oklahoma City this afternoon, according to News 9.

The accident happened at a home located near N MacArthur Boulevard and NW 122nd Street, when a tree branch fell on top of a 53-year-old man.

The victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Tulsa woman suffers multiple injuries in Washington Co. rollover accident

RAMONA, OK (WASHINGTON COUNTY) – A woman was airlifted to the hospital with multiple injuries after she crashed her car while attempting to avoid a truck in Washington County yesterday morning, according to Bartlesville Radio.

The crash happened on Hwy 75 near County Rd W3800 at about 9:35 a.m. when 28-year-old Tulsa woman Karina Robertson overcorrected her vehicle after attempting to avoid a truck.

The vehicle, a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer SUV, then rolled over multiple times, ejecting Robertson. She was airlifted to a hospital in Tulsa with multiple serious injuries, including those to the head, limbs, and internal organs.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.
