7 hurt in Oklahoma drunk driving collision

Seven people in Oklahoma suffered physical injuries in a recent vehicular collision allegedly caused by an intoxicated driver, a November 6 article of The Daily Ardmoreite reported.

Reports revealed that at about 7:00 p.m. on November 4, a wrong-way collision involving two vehicles happened on Interstate 35 in the vicinity of mile marker 51. Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported 35-year-old Mark Pulis was driving his vehicle in the wrong lane when he struck 32-year-old Holly Arriaga’s vehicle head-on. Pulis and Arriaga both suffered injuries from the incident and received treatment. Five passengers inside Arriaga’s vehicle, including four juveniles, were transported to local hospitals due to the injuries they sustained. Responding authorities said the incident was caused by drunk driving.

2 drivers seriously injured in OKC pileup

At least two people suffered serious injuries in the southwest region of Oklahoma City in a recent accident involving four vehicles, an article of News Channel 4 reported on October 6.

Information coming from the Oklahoma City Police Department revealed that at about 5:00 a.m., two vehicles were involved in a rear-end accident between Council and Rockwell in the S.W. 44th eastbound lane. The two drivers, identified as Robert Joseph, 47, and Nicholas Hitchcock, 19, reportedly were “exchanging information” while outside their vehicles when they were struck by a third vehicle. A fourth vehicle was later involved in the mishap after the impact from the third vehicle pushed the first two vehicles to the opposite lane. Hitchcock and Joseph were listed in critical condition when they were brought to a hospital. Initial investigations revealed that none of the drivers were under the influence before the mishap occurred.

Driver injured in Oklahoma rollover accident

A man was recently hospitalized for injuries sustained after the vehicle he was operating was involved in a single-vehicle accident, an article of Fox News 12 reported on June 10.

Three hurt in Oklahoma City collision

Family sues Caitlyn Jenner after fatal crash

The family who was injured in February’s deadly car accident involving former Olympian and current television personality Caitlyn Jenner recently filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against the star.

Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin recently signed a bill that prohibits people from sending text messages while driving a vehicle, the Oklahoman reported on May 5.

Though the proposed bill was previously criticized, it was backed by lawmakers after two state highway patrol troopers were killed in January. Starting on November 1, officers may pull over a vehicle driver sending text message while driving, and a fine of $100 will be imposed. Oklahoma is now included in the 46 other states that ban cell phone use while driving.

Stuntman’s son busted in Montana for suspected DUI

The progeny of late stuntman Evel Knievel, Robbie Knievel, was recently arrested for drunken driving after he allegedly caused a car accident in Butte, the Montana Standard reported on April 22.

Woman busted after crashing into police car

A woman in Tulsa, Oklahoma was arrested after she got involved in an accident, News On 6 reported on January 13.

According to reports, the accident happened at around 10:00 p.m. on the southern portion of Sheridan Road. An officer reportedly responded to a two-vehicle accident involving a police car.
