An elderly woman and a young driver were injured after their cars crashed, a January 22 article of The Duncan Banner reported.
The incident occurred around 2:43 PM Wednesday, on 2800 Road. 76-year-old Alma L. Burt was driving his 2018 GMC Acadia when it went in the way of a 17-year-old driver’s Ford F350. Burt was sent to Duncan Regional Hospital then transferred to OU Medical Center. She was admitted with injuries to her head, trunk internal, trunk external, arm, and leg. Meanwhile, the juvenile was carried by a personal vehicle to Duncan Regional Hospital with an arm injury.
