GUTHRIE, OK – At least one person was killed in a semi-truck crash on I-35 in Guthrie on Friday morning, according to News 9.

The collision happened in Logan County on southbound I-35, near State Highway 33, around 10 a.m., when a sedan crashed into the back of a semi-truck.

At least one person was confirmed dead in the crash.

Traffic was backed up for several miles as authorities worked the scene.

Man and 2 boys dead, driver injured in Ottawa County crash

MIAMI, OK (OTTAWA COUNTY) – Three people from Missouri, including two young boys, were killed and another person was injured in a crash on Highway 10 in Ottawa County yesterday afternoon.

According to KFOR, the crash happened on Oklahoma Highway 10, southeast of Miami at 2:11 p.m., when a 1994 Honda Civic, being driven by a 23-year-old man from Joplin, Missouri, crashed.

Three passengers, 29-year-old Terry Wilikins, a 5-year-old boy, and a 7-year-old boy, all also from Joplin, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver was taken to the hospital in Springfield, Missouri, for the treatment of head and torso injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.

Driver dead after crashing vehicle during police pursuit in Lawton

LAWTON, OK (COMANCHE COUNTY) – A driver was killed when he crashed his vehicle while reportedly being pursued by Lawton police yesterday morning, according to KOCO News.

The crash happened on Sheridan Road at about 3:35 a.m. as a police officer was pursuing the driver of a 2021 Chevrolet Camaro, who was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed.

The pursued driver lost control of his vehicle, then went off the side of the road. There, he collided with a curb and a mailbox before crashing into an embankment across Jefferson Avenue.

The Camaro overturned multiple times, then smashed into a vacant van and trailer and a fence. It finally landed upside-down.

The driver of the Camaro, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene.

The cause of the pursuit was not immediately available.

The officer was not hurt in the crash.

The crash happened on S MacArthur Boulevard, near I-40, and was reported at 9:24 p.m.

A female pedestrian was walking near the roadway when she was struck by a driver.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, was taken to the hospital for the treatment of severe injuries.

2 teens dead, man injured in crash on OK-1 in Pontotoc County

FITZHUGH, OK (PONTOTOC COUNTY) – A crash last night on Highway 1 in Pontotoc County took the lives of two teenage girls and severely injured another person, according to KFOR.

The crash occurred near Fitzhugh, about six miles north of the town of Roff, on OK-1, north of the Chickasaw Turnpike, at 7:11 p.m., and involved a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup truck.

A 15-year-old girl from Roff and a 17-year-old girl from Eufala were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 23-year-old man from Ada was airlifted to the hospital in Oklahoma City for the treatment of critical injuries to the head and torso.

All three victims were ejected from the Ram during the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.

Man facing charges after crashing car with baby riding on his chest

TULSA, OK – A man suspected of being under the influence is facing charges after crashing a car while driving with a baby on his chest in Tulsa last night, according to OKC FOX.

The crash happened near Memorial Drive and 31st Street at about 6 p.m., after driver Donald Ramsey crashed his vehicle.

A 6-month-old baby being held by Ramsey was injured during the crash, likely due to the impact of the airbag. The infant’s injuries are not expected to be life-threatening.

Ramsey, who reportedly admitted to using cannabis and prescription medication before the crash, is facing a charge of child endangerment in connection with the crash.
