Boating accident injures two teens on Shawnee Twin Lakes

SHAWNEE, OK – Two female teenagers were injured in a boating accident on Shawnee Twin Lakes sometime Sunday, reports the Shawnee News-Star.

A boat was pulling the two teens on an inflatable innertube when a personal watercraft struck their tube and injured them. Following the accident, they were hospitalized at OU Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

Authorities are still investigating the incident.

Injuries reported from accident in Shawnee

SHAWNEE, OK – An accident in Shawnee has hurt at least one person Tuesday morning, reports TTN Oklahoma.
The incident occurred on US 177 near Macarthur St around 6:35 Tuesday morning. It is not clear at this time how many people were hurt in the accident or what caused it.
